what is different with mAh greater than 2500?
Thanks for your question! The mAh rating basically relates to the capacity of the battery in miliamp hours. So the greater the mAh, generally the higher the capacity battery.

Some 3000mAh and 3500mAh batteries are compatible with the Boost Black. Proceed with caution if you're not familiar with 18650 battery wattages and output voltages.

Which way does the Battery Go in
Hello Jonathan. You unscrew (twist counter clockwise) the top part of the boost from the base and you should see the battery inside.

color was different but the battery worked, actually seems to last longer. i'll be back to after a few long term tests. btw. use an external battery charger. adds more use cycles before charging.
