First time users please read their user manual.
The Firefly 2 does NOT hit at all like the PAX, Crafty/Mighty, Davinci, etc) Those all heat up the material for some time before you ever draw, so when you draw with those devices, they usually will get vapor from a short 2-3 second inhalation. The Firefly 2 works differently, the material is only heated as you draw hot air through it, so the actual extraction of vapor only happens then and over the course of an inhalation lasting about 5-15 seconds, with 10 seconds being a typically average length.

First purchase ever
Really didn't know what to expect. Didn't see a lot of talk about specific leaf expiration or smoke content but figured it out. Experienced what I was looking for. Unit is handy and easy to use.
My first vape like it very much

Well worth the more ney
You will never regret spending the money on this! Only clean it every couple of bowls.
Say no to smoking, no to burning and its awful smells. Bake at low heat. Vaporize and savor discreetly. Firefly2 delivers! And all of that in a portable design, which is a pleaure to look at and handle.
So glad i figured it out
Just had it for a week. At first, nothing but problems. Kept searching. They aren't kidding about fine ground messing it up. I was plugging the mouthpiece. When I discovered that, things got better, but then this little screen fell out of the mouthpiece. I don't understand how this fine of a vaporizer has this little screen that falls out. Anyway, found how to put it back in, and started breaking it up by hand. And then things got real good. You have to keep it clean, especially the mouthpiece, and you have to be sure to push it back in hard enough for a snap. And I was going to try some cheaper grinders, but went right to breaking it up by hand. And then you have a dream vaporizer. They aren't kidding about ground up flower and they aren't kidding when they say "Enjoy your Flight" Would definitely be 5 stars, except for the mouthpiece. But I still think it is awesome.
Excellent but read the instructions
The Firefly is beautifully designed and gives the best tasting vape I've had. To have this great experience, however, read and follow the manufacturers' recommendations. There is a bit of a learning curve. Two things I've found to be paramount - how you load and how you inhale. Don't fill it with powder. Hand break your buds; grinding can be overkill. This looks like a pipe but operates just the opposite. The vapor comes up from the bowl and flows over the top. If your fill is too fine you will literally **** it out of the bowl and clog up the mouthpiece. This leads to the other point about inhaling. Don't hit it hard. Smooth and gentle are the way to go. The longer you inhale the better vape you get so try to prolong your hits. The app is awesome. It's effortless to set the temp and check the battery. I haven't had issues with the battery. A fully charged battery will last two fairly heavy sessions. It charges fast enough I haven't had to go for the second battery. I haven't tried with concentrates but for buds it is excellent.
